SUPPORTED LIVING FOR ADULTS LIVING WITH MENTAL HEALTH & LEARNING DISABILITY

 

• We provide long-term accommodation for adults with Learning disability and mental illness; for up to 10 adults, we combine housing with care and support services.

• We provide a safe and homely environment where tailored care and support are provided to help people live as independently as possible in the community and feel connected and included as part of the community.

• We offer person-centred care, designed to meet people’s individual needs and support people to live with choice, opportunity, and hope.

• We create a safe and supportive environment that feels as close to ‘home’ as possible.

• Our service provides care and support in communal living where the tenants can make new friends and develop social skills by participating in group sessions.

• We support service users to develop life skills to support their transition into independent living. The service consists of 10 en-suite bedrooms. All of our rooms are double bedrooms.

• We welcome couples

 

The service is located close to the local facilities. The amount of care and support we provide depends on individual’s needs - from just a few hours per day to up to round-the-clock with 24-hour staffing.

 

We welcome all Mental Health and Learning Disability referrals and we are confident that we can meet and go beyond, the fundamental standards of effective and safe care our service users require.

 

All of our services are double bedrooms with large communal areas

The rooms have a large wardrobe, chair, bedside table, drawers, and a bed.

 

• There is a large communal kitchen, living room, and garden for the tenants.

• The tenants have access to the internet and Virgin TV.
